Shigung Thomas Haase

Shigung Haase has been practicing martial arts for over 50 years, and teaching Kung Fu for the past 45 years. He began his training in 1972 and started Kung Fu in 1976 while stationed at Fairbanks Alaska, where he trained in the Tibetan Charging White Crane Kung Fu style 閃電火山西藏進攻白鶴功夫派. This style was founded by Abbot Kangsar Ming in the mid 1800’s at the Chengtian Shaolin Temple in Western Sichuan Province, China, near the Tibetan border. 

Currently, he has been accepted as a Disciple of Grandmaster Sun Deyao of the Hao Family Taiji Meihua Praying Mantis system.

Additionally, Shigung Haase has trained with numerous world renowned Kung Fu Grandmasters in the USA and China.

Grandmasters such as:

Zhang Bingdou - Tai Ji Plum Flower Praying Mantis (Mantis King of Shandong Province), who also accepted him as a disciple.

Lee Koon Hung – Choi Lai Fut style and student of Shek Kin (“Enter the Dragon” movie star);

Mok Poi On – Shaolin Wing Chun;

Yu Cheng Hui – Tai Ji Plum Flower Praying Mantis master, Tang dynasty two-handed straight sword authority, and “Shaolin Temple” movie star;

Cui Lu Yi – Hong’s Chen Tai Chi master and China Kung Fu movie star;

Li En Jiu – Tai Ji Plum Flower Praying Mantis master and Hong’s Chen Tai Chi Standard Bearer;

Shimu Cynthia Swann Haase

Cynthia began her Kung Fu/Tai Chi career in 1986 when she enrolled in a local Tai Chi class. 

Following this, she began to study Kung Fu in Temple Terrace in 1988. 

In 1991 she moved to Melbourne FL. and continued her training under her husband Shigung Thomas Haase. 

During her career she has had the opportunity to receive special training from some of the worlds greatest GrandMasters, such as:

Shifu Rich Cummings

Shifu Rich has been in the martial arts for the past 35 years and began his career in 1983 when he enrolled in a Merritt Island Tae Kwon Do school. Within a short time he was competing throughout the state in the Florida Black Belt Tournament circuit. 

In 1984 he began his Kung Fu training in White Dragon and then in 1986 he found the Kung Fu club in Rockledge where Shigung Haase was assisting. 

In 1992 when Shigung Haase opened the full time school in Merritt Island, Rich was one of the first students to join. 

In 1997, Shifu Rich moved to Tampa and has remained an integral part of the Tampa Kung Fu College. 

Shifu Rich has had the opportunity to train with numerous Grandmasters and Masters to enhance his Kung Fu. His additional training includes:    

  • Tai Ji Mei Hua Praying Mantis, 

  • Olympic style gymnastics, 

  • Bagua, 

  • Chen Tai Chi, 

  • Wu Tai Chi, and

  • Advanced Yang Style Tai Chi.

Shifu Tommy Maurer

Shifu Tommy began his martial arts career in 1993 when he trained at the Chung Mo Do school in St. Petersburg. 

In 1997 he trained for several months at the Kerry King Judo and Jiu Jitsu school. 

In 1999, he enrolled at the Tampa Kung Fu College, where he has diligently trained and progressed to Assistant Instructor. In with  to his regular training,

Sihing Guill Rios

Sihing Guill began training in boxing in 1985. 

In 1994 he started training at a local Kung Fu club and when it closed, he continued his own personal training with the techniques he learned.

In 1996 he enrolled at the Tampa Kung Fu College, when it first opened on Kennedy Blvd. 

Since then he has been an active member and integral part of the Tampa school for the promotion of the Jut Sow system. Additionally, Sihing Guill has also trained with numerous World renowned Grandmasters, such as:

Sihing Kevin Woodworth

Sihing Kevin began his martial arts career in 1994 when he trained in Aikido.

In 1996 he enrolled in the Tampa Kung Fu College, trained diligently until 2005 when he moved to Atlanta for work. While there he expanded his knowledge by training in Aiki-Jiujitsu. 

In 2015 he returned to Tampa and resumed his training once again, where he continues as a senior member and Instructor.

Sihing Leander Williams

Sihing Lee began his martial arts career in 1997, when he enrolled at a Tae Kwon Do school in Brandon and included Hop Kido for its self defense properties. 

In 2002 he found the Tampa Kung Fu College and immediately enrolled in the adult classes. 

Since enrolling,  Sihing Lee has trained diligently at the school and at home with a total dedication to the system. Additionally, he has also had the opportunity to train with world renowned Grandmasters, such as:

Sijie Amy Marbut

Sijie Amy began her training in 2002 at the Tampa Kung Fu College. Her dedication to the system and her training have brought her to the position as as senior member within the Tampa team. 

In 2010 she was a gold standard medalist at the Guangzhou New Martial Hero Tournament in Guangzhou China,

Sihing Tony began his martial arts career in 1993 when he enrolled in a local Tae Kwon Do school. 

Eventually, in 2009, he started training at the Tampa Kung Fu College. 

In 2010, he traveled to China with the Delegation which competed in the New Martial Hero Magazine Kung Fu Championship Tournament. Also, while in China he trained at the E'Po Shaolin Martial Art College in Dengfeng City under Grandmaster Liang Yi Quan.
